Introduction

The University of Wollongong is a truly international university, with a diverse student population, staff from many countries, and extensive links with leading educational institutions around the world. The University is committed to providing opportunities for international experience and cultural exchange, so that students may enrich their academic programs and gain a global outlook.

In fact, one of the University's key graduate attributes is for students to develop "an appreciation and valuing of cultural and intellectual diversity and the ability to function in a multi-cultural or global environment".

As a UOW student, you can learn another language, undertake international studies as a minor to your degree and gain first-hand international experience as a participant of the International Student Exchange Program. There are many options to choose from, and we encourage you to consider incorporating a period of student exchange into your UOW degree.
