Currently Enrolled University of Wollongong Students (including students who were only enrolled in Autumn session).
You can enrol from early October via Student Online Services (SOLS). Logon at www.uow.edu.au/student/ and then select 'enrolment and variations' from the menu.
New Students Commencing their course in Summer Session
If you have not yet applied to commence your degree in Summer session and wish to do so you should submit an application form with relevant documentation to our UniAdvice office by the closing date. Application forms are available from UniAdvice (ground floor, Administration Building 36) or by telephoning 1300 367 869.
Once you have received your offer you should contact Student Central on (02) 4221 3927 to discuss your enrolment process. You will be required to attend the University before the first day of Summer Session to enrol. You will need to bring the following things with you when you come to enrol:
- Offer of Admission letter (all students);
- Proof of Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residence (all domestic students), eg passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate. A drivers licence can NOT be accepted. You will not be permitted to enrol if you do not bring the required documents with you;
- Tax File Number, if you intend to defer your student contribution by applying for a HELP loan (domestic students only);
- Academic transcripts (if seeking credit and you have not already had advanced standing awarded);
- A pen.
Cross Institutional Students (students from other universities)
If you are seeking to undertake a Summer session subject at this University to count towards a degree program at another University (ie cross-institutional enrolment) you must submit an application form with relevant documentation to Student Central by the closing date. Application forms are available on the web, at Student Central, ground floor Building 17 or by telephoning (02) 4221 3927.
Please note, University rules, as stated in the University of Wollongong Handbook, also apply to cross institutional applicants. If you are under exclusion from this university or any other university, you may not be accepted as a cross institutional student, unless given approval by the Academic Senate. Acceptance as a cross institutional student does not give any guarantee of future admission to an award course at this University.
You must provide a letter from your home institution stating that the subject(s) being undertaken at Wollongong will be counted towards your award course at that institution. If this letter is not forwarded to Student Central at this University before the closing date full non award fees will apply (see Fees Information).
Non Award Applications
If you are not currently enrolled at a university and you satisfy normal entry requirements and wish to study for general interest purposes (ie you don't wish to commence a degree) you should submit an application form with relevant documentation to Student Central by the closing date. Application forms are available on the web, at Student Central, ground floor Building 17 or by telephoning (02) 4221 3927.
