Dean Academic Affairs, University of Wollongong in Dubai

Duties:

• Co-ordinate and administer the academic programs taught at the Dubai Campus
• Plan and develop the future programs of the Campus
• Provide academic leadership, supervision, guidance and counselling to teaching and research staff
• Liaise closely with staff at the home campus to ensure the smooth planning and administration of courses
• Supervise quality assurance over teaching and courses
• Advise and assist students as necessary
• Undertake academic research activity suited, where appropriate, to the social and political environment in the Emirates
• Plan and administer program budgets and non-financial resources
• Oversee research programs developed by members of staff
• Teach subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels as appropriate
