University Planning and Quality CommitteeContentsThe University Planning and Quality Committee (UPAQ) is an advisory committee to the Vice-Chancellor on issues associated with strategic planning and quality improvement. Terms of Reference
- Monitor and review annual reporting on the University's Goals and Objectives.
- Recommend improvements to the review and planning process to achieve more effective alignment with and support for the University Strategic Plan.
- Review the University Strategic Plan and the strategic planning structure on a three-year basis and recommend revisions to the Vice-Chancellor, as appropriate.
- Monitor the development, implementation and progress of the University Quality Improvement Plan, with particular regard to the reporting required for AUQA.
- Review the strategies for ensuring that planning and quality activities and outcomes are developed and implemented via effective consultation and communication processes, including feedback mechanisms.
The Committee will also provide advice to the Vice-Chancellor on other issues associated with strategic planning and quality improvement as appropriate. MembershipThe Committee shall consist of:
- Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) (Chair)
- Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations) (or nominee)
- Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) (or nominee)
- Vice-Principal Administration (or nominee)
- Vice-Principal International (or nominee)
- Two Deans appointed by the Vice-Chancellor
- Chair of Senate (Deputy Chair as standing nominee when required)
- University Librarian
Other University officers and members to be invited as required for consultation/advice on relevant items of business
