Community Engagement CommitteeContentsTerms of ReferenceThe Committee is advisory to the Vice-Chancellor and shall:
- advise on the development, monitoring and review of the University’s community engagement goals embedded in the University Strategic Plan;
- advise on community engagement priorities as detailed in an annual action plan;
- advise, where appropriate, on policies and practices relevant to community engagement activities; and
- facilitate effective community engagement links between the University and our communities.
MembershipThe Committee shall consist of:
- the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) who shall be Chair
- the Director of the Innovation Campus who shall be Deputy Chair
- the Chair of the University’s Community Reference Group
- two other members of the Community Reference Group nominated by that Group
- the Manager of the Office of Community & Partnerships
- the Manager Careers Service
- the Head of the Shoalhaven Campus
- a Dean appointed by the Vice-Chancellor
- two members of academic staff appointed by the Vice-Chancellor
- a student member appointed by the Vice-Chancellor.

Community Reference CommitteeTerms of ReferenceThe Community Reference Group (CRG) is advisory to the Chair of the Community Engagement Committee and will play a central role in community consultation. Its main purpose is to act as a link between the community and the University and to facilitate discussion and debate on issues raised in the development and implementation of the University’s Strategic Plan. MembershipThe CRG shall consist of: • up to 10 community representatives appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, one of whom shall be Chair. • the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) • the Executive Officer, Development & Planning • the Manager of the Office of Community & Partnerships • the Community Engagement Coordinator
