University Council Elections 2011

The 2011 Council Elections have concluded.

Postgraduate Member

Following the close of nominations in the 2011 University Council Elections, there was one valid nomination for the Postgraduate Student Member of Council from Mr Saif AlSulami. In accordance with Schedule 1, Section 4(3) of the University of Wollongong By-law, I hereby declare Mr AlSulami elected to the position of Postgraduate Member of the University Council for a term of two years commencing on 1 January 2012.

Undergraduate Member

Following the close of voting in the 2011 University Council Election for the undergraduate student member, Mr James Parrish received the highest number of votes. In accordance with Schedule 1, Section 8(1) of the University of Wollongong By-law, I hereby declare Mr James Parrish elected to the position of Undergraduate Member of the University Council for a term of two years commencing on 1 January 2012.

Graduate Member

Following the close of voting in the 2011 University Council Election for one graduate member, Dr Alex Zelinsky received the highest number of votes. In accordance with Schedule 1, Section 8(1) of the University of Wollongong By-law, I hereby declare Dr Alex Zelinsky elected to the position of Graduate Member of the University Council for a term of four years commencing on 1 January 2012.
