Campus Tours are available all year: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

The University of Wollonong's main campus is located on Northfields Avenue, Wollongong, NSW.  Find out how to get to UOW.

To book, call 1300 367 869 or email UniAdvice.

Set among the foothills of Mount Keira, between the rainforest-covered Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean, UOW’s main campus blends peacefully into the natural environment. Its native gardens and streams abound in birdlife, and it has everything you need from cafés, restaurants, bars and a cinema to banks, a hairdresser, travel agent, post office and state-of-the-art gym and aquatic centre.

University of Wollongong Library

The Duck Pond Lawn is a central gathering space for work and play—you can lie in the sun and study using the campus-wide wireless internet, or simply listen to a live band on the outdoor surround-sound system. Markets, information stalls and displays all add to the atmosphere.

Of course there are also plenty of quiet places. Our modern library is an open and relaxing study space with flexible facilities and services to help you learn.

Tailored tours

You don’t need to wait until you’ve started at UOW to see firsthand why our campus is special. A guided campus, faculty and accommodation tour will give you and your family a closer look at university life—and the chance to ask as many questions as you like.

Our free campus tours are conducted by current UOW students and are tailored to meet your individual interests and needs.

The real deal

Biotechnology Honours student and Student Council representative Blake Cochran is a regular tour guide…

“Because our tours are personalised, you have the chance to speak with the tour guide who is actually studying in the area you are interested in. You also experience firsthand all that UOW has to offer—its fantastic buildings, facilities and services. It’s a great opportunity for parents to also come along and check out the campus.”

Pauline Findlay visited the campus recently...

“The tour gave my boys an insight into what university is like; they were able to ask many questions and we were really impressed with what UOW had to offer”.
