Orientation Program

A compulsory Orientation program for all study abroad and exchange students is held on Monday, 22 February 2010. The program is designed to provide students with all the information they require to settle into a new country and to confidently approach a new study environment. Topics covered include:

  • Enrolment at the UOW
  • Academic differences
  • Services and facilities available on campus
  • Rules and responsibilities relating to overseas student health cover
  • Personal safety
  • General information about living in Australia, local customs and attitudes
  • Campus Tours

Location: Building 67 (McKinnon Building)

9:00am to 12:00pm 

Study Abroad and exchange Information Sessions

12.00 - 1.30pm 

Lunch and UOW Get Started Festival

1.30pm - 4.00pm 

Enrolment and Student identification

Students should enrol prior to arrival at UOW, but there will be the opportunity to enrol late on your orientation day if required
