UOW’s main Wollongong campus is set in native Australian bush and is one of the most picturesque university campuses in Australia. Less than two kilometres east is UOW’s Innovation Campus – a research and technology precinct that houses innovative organisations as well as some of UOW’s leading research institutes.

UOW has two campuses in Australia’s largest city, Sydney, and a new campus in one of Australia’s fastest growing regions, the Great South West.

In 1993 UOW established the first of its regional campuses in the Shoalhaven. Since then the network has been extended so that residents of other regional areas can benefit from a university education close to home.

Postgrad study definitely helped with my career goals. For a lot of the jobs I was applying for, one of the requirements was to have a Masters. I was working full-time when I was studying my masters, but gaining that degree helped me progress in my career. I really enjoyed my degree, the staff at UOW were all really supportive. To no surprise there is so much more to know. And, a master's degree was always a piece of the puzzle for me because it's the greatest honour to study at the highest level. The website made it so easy for me to decide which course I was choosing. There was quite a selection and I really meant that I could tailor it to my interests.

Doing the degree would really help me in my career because it offers an accreditation. I knew that if I was to go out in the workforce, um, I have that accreditation. I was quite confident that I was gonna have good employability prospects. Doing the degree was kind of no brainer really. Studying this degree has definitely given me the confidence that I feel like I've needed. I think that's been the biggest thing that I've gotten from doing this degree.

There is never a better time than right now. You won't regret it.
