UOW’s main Wollongong campus is set in native Australian bush and is one of the most picturesque university campuses in Australia. Less than two kilometres east is UOW’s Innovation Campus – a research and technology precinct that houses innovative organisations as well as some of UOW’s leading research institutes.
UOW has three campuses across Sydney, providing students with access to a world-class education in key commercial and residential hubs. The campuses offer a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and pathway programs.
In 1993 UOW established the first of its regional campuses in the Shoalhaven. Since then the network has been extended so that residents of other regional areas can benefit from a university education close to home.
Coming back to uni has been so invigorating. I'm grateful it is flexible and online so I can do it in my own space and time. After 20 years of doing the same thing, learning about a whole new world has been fascinating and makes me really excited about where this degree will take me.

Postgraduate UOW alumni earn on average 53% more than their undergraduate colleagues, four to six months after course completion. Median postgraduate coursework full-time salary was $110,000 compared to $72,000 for undergraduates according to the 2025 Graduate Outcomes Survey National Report.

Fee support
In 2027, eligible students may have access to Commonwealth supported places in selected disciplines. HELP loans may be available depending on eligibility.

We asked two postgrad students to share why they chose to study and what they've got out of the experience so far.
Apply nowTo no surprise there is so much more to know. And, a master's degree was always a piece of the puzzle for me because it's the greatest honour to study at the highest level. The website made it so easy for me to decide which course I was choosing. There was quite a selection and I really meant that I could tailor it to my interests.
Doing the degree would really help me in my career because it offers an accreditation. I knew that if I was to go out in the workforce, um, I have that accreditation. I was quite confident that I was gonna have good employability prospects. Doing the degree was kind of no brainer really. Studying this degree has definitely given me the confidence that I feel like I've needed. I think that's been the biggest thing that I've gotten from doing this degree.
