Sydney Business School programs are offered at UOW’s Innovation Campus in North Wollongong and in downtown Sydney, while all other programs are offered on the main Wollongong campus.
Most postgraduate courses are taught on campus and require full-time study and attendance.
A number of postgraduate coursework programs in Education are also available via distance education. Go to CourseFinder and click on ‘DISTANCE EDUCATION’.
About Postgraduate Degrees
Postgraduate degrees (also known as graduate programs, or taught masters) are offered across all of UOW’s nine faculties and two graduate schools in Engineering and IT, Health Sciences and Medicine; Business and Commerce; Applied and Natural Sciences; Arts, Communications and Creative Arts; Law and Education.
Many of UOW’s graduate programs offer professional accreditation by bodies which ensure your degree is internationally portable.
Wollongong graduate employment rates are consistently above the Australian average, and Wollongong ranks in the world's top 100 universities in the world in the Times Higher Education Employer review.
A unique feature of UOW’s graduate program is the opportunity to gain the Global Certificate in Workplace Practice – a program which offers you the chance to hone your employment seeking and English language skills.
Graduate research programs are also offered in all these areas – see Research degrees for information on these.
Postgraduate coursework leads to the award of a master degree (1-2 years), and in some cases to a graduate diploma ( 1 year) or graduate certificate (1 semester). Many of our masters degrees or combinations of degrees are designed as two-year study programs.
Applicants can enter a master degree as Australian or overseas bachelor degree holders or, for those who hold diplomas or advanced diplomas with relevant work experience may be offered entry to a master degree through a graduate diploma or graduate certificate pathway.
