UOW College - Foundation Studies & Diplomas
UOW College is the private college of the University of Wollongong (UOW), and is located on campus with access to all UOW facilities.
UOW College offers internationally recognised preparatory courses for students wishing to gain entry to the university. The intensive pattern of study enables qualification for university in the minimum time.
The Academic Pathway Programs are designed for entry at any stage, and include:
Foundation Studies
- Foundation Studies – for students who have not met direct entry to university or have not completed their secondary schooling. Foundation studies are two- or three-session programs (8 or 12 months). Successful completion of this program will provide students with a qualification to enter their first year of their chosen Bachelor degree at UOW.
Diplomas
- Diplomas – for students who want to study Commerce (Diploma in Business) or IT Bachelor degrees (Diploma in Information Technology) and do not meet all direct entry requirements. UOW College diplomas are equivalent to the first year of the corresponding Bachelor degree, so students can complete their degree in three years.
UOW College has three entry dates per year: February, June and October.
