English Extension Study Day
The University of Wollongong in conjunction with the English Literatures Program and the South Coast Branch of the English Teachers’ Association are pleased to announce a seminar on the English Extension Syllabus.
The seminar is being developed in conjunction with local English teachers and English Literatures staff from the Faculty of Arts and will be held on Wednesday 18th November 2009. Aimed at students doing English Extension as part of the 2010 HSC, the day is an intensive and interesting program to assist students in achieving their potential in English Extension.
The program for the day will include parallel sessions covering the following modules:
- Crime Writing
- After the Bomb
- Romanticism
- Navigating the Global
These will be followed by morning tea, a library session and workshops on creative writing.
On-line registration is essential to secure a place. Registrations open 20th October and close on 9th November. All students and teachers are required to register individually to attend this day. Please ensure you are aware which parallel session you need to attend before registering, as you are required to indicate which session you are attending while registering.
