As a mature-age student, you may apply directly to UOW using our online form, by filling out an application form, or through the Universities Admissions Centre.

Many factors are taken into account during the application process—your work or study background may assist in your application. Our entry requirements outline the criteria you will need to meet.

Rewards - Scholarships

We have many scholarships, some of which reward academic and sporting excellence, community involvement, indigenous students or simply for relocating to Wollongong. We also have scholarships specifically for mature-age students.

Alternative Entry Paths

There are many ways to satisfy the academic entry requirements for a Bachelor degree at UOW, including university preparation programs through UOW College, TAFE or your experience in the workforce. Our range of entry paths will suit wherever you’re at in life.
