Interview and Award Process
After the closing date, applications are reviewed by a selection committee. Some scholarships short-list candidates for an interview while others make a selection based on the application only. Interviews take place on Campus or the sponsoring organisation’s premises.
Once the sponsor notifies the Scholarship Office of the successful candidate, we will contact the student and obtain a verbal acceptance then mail the student a Scholarship Agreement – which is to be signed and sent back to the University before we can allocate payments.
The Scholarship Office will notify all unsuccessful applicants.

• Arrive on time – aim for at least 5-10 minutes prior to the interview start time
• Ensure you are familiar with the contents of your application
• Research the sponsoring organisation
