you need to know as an Honours supervisor

Q6. What are my obligations should
I need to take leave?
If you plan on taking study leave or any other kind of extended
leave during a student's candidature, you should inform the
student and the Honours Co-ordinator and make arrangements
for alternative supervision during your absence. If you intend
to take leave for a whole session, you should not be supervising
an honours project. Additionally, if the timing of your leave
means that you cannot satisfy all the requirements of the
Code of Practice - Honours, then you should not be supervising
an honours project.
