Q3. How often should I meet with the student(s) I supervise?

Supervisors should meet with students on a regular basis to discuss work in progress and to advise on the direction of this work. Some faculties have interpreted “regular” to mean “preferably weekly, but not less frequently than fortnightly”. You should consult the Honours Guide for your faculty/unit/honours program to determine if there are any specific requirements with regard to frequency of meetings.
