The following information was supplied by Jean Mikkelson. Alexander met Ethel while he was working as a drover and she as a housemaid on "Tarramia" near Mulwalla outside Albury.
Edith Lahiff has seen Alexander's birth certificate and it says Janet Speirs was born on "Tarramia" station. Janet's father was a draper.
