Excellence in Research Supervision
The Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research Supervision recognises on-going commitment and dedication to successful research student supervision. Research supervisors are nominated by present and past Higher Degree Research Students for this award. The winner will receive a certificate and a cash prize of $4,000 and will be formally acknowledged at the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards ceremony.

Research Excellence (Senior Researchers)
The Vice-Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award for Senior Researchers acknowledges the outstanding contributions to research by UOW individual researchers or research teams. The winning researcher or team will receive a certificate and a cash prize of $4,000 and will be formally acknowledged at the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards ceremony.

Research Excellence (Emerging Researchers)
The Vice-Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award for Emerging Researchers is designed to encourage outstanding researchers within the first seven years of their research career to continue to pursue research excellence. The winners will receive a certificate and a cash prize of $4,000 and will be formally acknowledged at the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards ceremony.

Outstanding Achievement in Research Partnership
The Vice-Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research Partnership recognises the importance that UOW research staff play in the process of initiating, developing, enhancing and managing UOW research partnerships. The staff winner(s) will receive a plaque and a cash prize of $4,000 and will be formally acknowledged at the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards ceremony. In addition, the external research partner(s) involved will receive a plaque and will be formally acknowledged at the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards ceremony.
