Campus Environmental Management Committee
Welcome
The University of Wollongong is extremely proud of
its campus environment. Our campus has been recognised
as one of the most attractive environments for study,
not only in Australia, but worldwide. Students, staff
and numerous visitors have indicated that the quality
of the environment is most conducive for work and study.
It is recognised, however, that maintaining and improving
the quality of our campus environment is a cooperative
activity involving support from all members of the campus
community (staff and students).
All campus users are encouraged to think about the
attractiveness of the campus in their activities. We
are continually working towards greater efficiency in
use of resources (water, energy),
improved recycling, and the creation of an attractive
and safe environment for work and study.
