This Master's Thesis is concerned with the development of mathematical models in Epidemiology. In particular it examines the Tasmanian Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) paper by Beeton and Forbes (2012) based on the wild animal model of Roberts and Jowett (1996) and the review paper by Hethcote (2000).
Keywords: Dynamical Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Epidemiology Models, Bifurcation Analysis, Population Dynamics, Tasmanian Devil, stability, Hopf bifurcation.
