| In sensor networks, the size of medium access control (MAC) address is prohibitively expensive when one considers the small payload and the cost of transmitting one bit. We address this problem by proposing a technique that encodes L-bits of the payload with a key derived from MAC addresses. We show how the decoding process removes the need for MAC addresses in packets. |
