Notes: After completing his Leaving Certificate at Wagga High School where he was captain in his final year, Jim worked on farms during the Depression. He undertook correspondence studies to enter local government in 1941 at Lawson. In a career spanning nearly 40 years, Jim served as Shire Clerk at Tomerong, Nowra, Brewarrina and Culcairn. Jim and Isabel retired to Nambucca Heads where they continued to be active in the Uniting Church. The Seberry Retirement Village there is named after them.
