You can access a storage system from a UNIX client by using the rsh command.

Step

  1. Enter the rsh command, replacing username and password with the user name and credentials, and command and arguments with the desired command and arguments: rsh filername -l username:password command arguments

    rsh filer12 -l myname:mypass sysstat 1
