Configuring DNS with FilerView

You can set or modify DNS configuration values with FilerView.

Steps

1. In FilerView, click Network in the list on the left pane.
2. In the list under Network, click Manage DNS and then NIS Name Services.

3. If you want to...	Then...
   Enable DNS	Select Yes in the DNS Enable field.
   Set or modify the DNS domain name	Enter a name in the DNS Domain Name field.
   Specify or modify DNS servers	Enter up to three IP addresses in the DNS Servers field.
   Specify or modify the search list for host-name lookup	Enter a name in the DNS Domain Search field.
