Explore the collection

The University of Wollongong Art Collection comprises over 5,000 individual works. It is predominantly a collection of Australian artworks created from the 1960s onward and includes paintings, prints, ceramics and textiles along with a number of outdoor sculptures. We have started our online database with 100 artworks from the Collection and this will steadily build over the coming years.

Exhibition: Wry ARTificer

The University of Wollongong’s Wry ARTificer exhibition in the Panizzi Gallery (5 Nov- 31 March 2019), explored Bert Flugelman’s art practice beyond the monumental public sculptures he is most recognised for. Flugelman’s work incorporates broad themes in various mediums, often demonstrating his well-known wit and sharp eye.
