Study days

The Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities invites teachers and students to attend our free study days. Our study days provide high school students with an opportunity to participate in hands-on, informative workshops that are jam-packed with valuable information. Sessions are run by UOW academics, students, high school teachers and external presenters.

Students will get a taste of what life at university can be like while learning valuable skills to help them achieve their full potential in the final years of high school.

Subjects covered include HSC History Extension, HSC Languages and Year 10 Languages.

Our study days

Love learning languages? The Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities hosts an interactive workshop designed specifically for Year 10 Language students.

You will learn from UOW’s passionate language Academics and choose from workshops in French, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish and Japanese.

Our last year 10 languages day was held in February 2020, if you are interested in our study day for 2021 please contact the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities Marketing team.

Get a head start on your exams for history with UOW’s History extension seminars.

We held the 2019 History Extension Study Day on 13 November. HSC History extension students were able to get a taste of ‘life on campus’ and further explore their studies through our series of inspirational sessions.

Details for the 2020 History Extension Study Day will be available soon.
