Energise: Believe, Succeed, Lead
The University of Wollongong and St George Illawarra Dragons have joined forces to develop the Energise program for Year 11 students. Energise is focused on inspiring students to set long-term education and career goals, discover pathways to achieve them, develop strong study skills, build resilience, overcome challenges and become confident leaders.

Time: 8.45am - 2.45pm
Where: Starting at - Legends Club, Netstrata Jubilee Oval, Kogarah
Finishing at: Mahogany Room, St George Leagues Club, 124 Princes Highway, Kogarah
Who should attend Energise?
Your school is invited to nominate ten Year 11 students to participate in Energise. The ten students nominated should be:
- Identified as student leaders and high achievers within the school
- Achieved sound A and/or B grades on their Year 10 ROSA
- Plan on studying at university after high school
Key features of Energise are:
- Young and engaging keynote speakers who exemplify the qualities of inspirational leaders
- Participation in activities with other like-minded students from the region’s High Schools
- Enhancement of the participants’ individual leadership and communication skills
- Development of resilience and self-belief strategies
- Preparation for the HSC and life beyond school
