UOW offers a variety of student accommodation with options to live on-campus, near the beach or in the city, in a single or shared apartment, either catered or not. We also offer residences specifically suited to mature-aged, mature-minded and postgraduate students.

If you receive a UOW Early Admission offer for 2022 and completed your final studies (HSC, IB or equivalent) at a high school in rural or regional Australia, you will automatically be considered for a $5,000 rent discount for your first year in a UOW residence. There is no separate application to complete. As long as you meet these criteria and apply for your UOW accommodation by 14 November 2020, you are eligible to be considered for one of 24 scholarships. It's as easy as that.LEARN MORE

A small number of rooms are available for students wishing to move in midyear. Accommodation is open to students studying undergraduate, postgraduate or at UOW College, and offers academic and wellbeing support to help you succeed.

We're excited that 2021 will give more students the chance to safely study at the University of Wollongong's (UOW) vibrant campus.
Many students have missed the social experience of learning in person throughout 2020. And we have too.
So, in 2021, as much as possible, UOW students will be able to enrol in face-to-face learning, meaning they can make the most of the quality campus experience we're renowned for. It’s why our students have rated us as the top university in NSW and the ACT overall (QILT 2020) and have given their overall educational experience at UOW the maximum 5-star rating (GUG 2021).See for yourself

UOW's 2021 Open Day will be held at Wollongong campus on Saturday 7 August. While you're visiting the Wollongong campus for Open Day, take the time to join an accommodation tour. You'll find the tour tent near the Uni Bar.
