UOW apps

This resource will provide an overview of some useful apps for students and staff of the University of Wollongong.

UOW Apps

There are over a dozen UOW applications for use on smart devices. A full list can be found here. Most of these apps have been developed for iOS (Apple) devices only. Some of the most commonly used UOW apps include Lost on Campus, MyUOW, SafeZone, UOW Parking and UOW Shuttle. Further information about these apps can be found below.

Lost on Campus

Lost on Campus is a free app for iOS that acts as a mapping service that can help you find buildings, lecture theatres, labs, food outlets and much more.

MyUOW

MyUOW is a free app for iOS that allows you to keep up with what’s going on around campus, including events, seminars and activities. You can also use the app to access SOLS and UOWmail.

SafeZone

SafeZone is a free app for iOS that connects you directly to the university security team when you need help while you are on campus. You will be able to get urgent help if you feel threatened and call for first aid or help in less urgent situations as well.

UOW Parking

UOW Parking is a free app for iOS that allows you to view the current status of UOW car parks, including parking space availability.

UOW Shuttle

UOW Shuttle is a free app for iOS that provides a timetable of upcoming buses for the Gong, North Gong and Gwynneville-Keiraville free shuttle buses. The app also provides GPS tracking information for the shuttles so that you can see where the buses are at any given time and plan your trip accordingly.
