Official academic documents
Following the successful completion of your studies, you are eligible to receive a testamur (certificate) when you graduate. The testamur is a legal document, issued by the authority of the Secretary to Council and the Chancellor, and imprinted with the University Seal. It will state the name of your qualification and the area(s) of major study. One copy of your academic transcript (an official record of all subjects attempted and corresponding results) and our Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) is also provided with your testamur.
YOUR ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS WILL BE POSTED TO YOU BY DHL COURIERS OR THIRD PARTY COURIER
- If you complete your course in November, your official documents will be sent to you by the end of January of the following year.
- If you complete your course in July, your official documents will be sent to you by the end of September.
Documents will be sent regardless of whether you choose to attend a graduation ceremony or not (or if your ceremony is scheduled for the next year) but you still must apply to graduate.
