*Graduates in the first 12 months after submissions are also eligible to apply.
If the answer is yes to all of the above, then Careers Lounge is for you!
What is Careers Lounge?
Careers Lounge is a series of four weekly informal group discussions for PhD or Masters by Research students, facilitated by your faculty Career Consultant. There are no slides or presentations – just a sharing of experience, resources and support.
Each session will focus on a distinct career or job search theme which has been identified as important by the group. Possible themes could be:
- finding opportunities
- finding focus
- staying motivated
- reviewing each other’s resumes and CVs
- using social media
How will it benefit me?
Careers Lounge will help all participants learn about the topic by hearing each other’s questions and experience. Each session is an open and democratic discussion, where all questions and contributions are welcome. Your Careers Consultant will support the discussion with advice, strategies and resources.
Come along, ask questions, contribute and learn together at Careers Lounge.
