course Description

The Dean’s Scholar Program is designed for high achieving students to complete the Bachelor of Creative Arts degree with a number of benefits.

    • A textbook/materials allowance

    • Access to an academic mentor

    • Access to postgraduate events, seminars and workshops, where appropriate

    • Extended internet quota

    • Extended library access

    • Opportunity for internships and/or self-directed study/special projects

To qualify for the award of Dean’s Scholar, students must complete the course requirements specified for the Bachelor of Creative Arts. Dean's Scholars must also maintain an average of 75% in each year of study to remain in the program. If the student's average falls below 75%, the student will be transferred into the Bachelor of Creative Arts degree.

Course structure

The course requirements for the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dean’s Scholar) are the same as for the Bachelor of Creative Arts, with the additional criterion that students must maintain an average of 75% in each year of study to remain in the program.
