Faculty of Science Rules
All students enrolled in Faculty of Science degrees should note that:
they must satisfy the minimum mathematics requirement for all degrees offered by the Faculty of Science; (only candidates majoring in Human Geography or Land and Heritage Management are exempt from this rule);
a clear Pass (not a Pass Restricted/Pass Conceded grade) is required in a pre-requisite subject to progress to a higher level subject in disciplines within the Faculty of Science unless that pre- requisite is waived by the relevant Head of School for a particular student in special circumstances;
a student must have a clear Pass in at least 24 credit points of 300-level subjects which form part of a Science major;
a student must have a clear Pass in the subjects listed as core at 300-level in a 3-year degree to graduate with that degree;
only 60 credit points of 100-level subjects may be counted towards a degree; and
a student must complete a minimum of 32 credit points at 300-level for all degrees offered by the Faculty of Science.
