How to lodge a complaint - community members

The University of Wollongong is proud of our long-standing community relationships. We encourage you to let us know if you have any concerns about our services, staff or students.

Your complaint will be taken seriously and will be investigated thoroughly where necessary.  The University is committed to implementing new processes to improve the way we do things - where an investigation highlights a problem with a UOW process or service that you have told us about, you will be making a difference?

To lodge a formal complaint please complete and submit the form below.

The Complaints Management Centre will:

  • review your complaint;
  • explain the general complaints process to you;
  • advise you of the the functional area that will manage your complaint;

We will get back to you within 2 working days.

Privacy statement:

The information that you provide us with, will be treated confidentially and will only be used for the purpose of responding/dealing with your complaint.

It may be necessary to provide the information to relevant areas for the purpose of investigation.

The information will not be disclosed to any person who does not have a legitimate need to know about it.

Any reference to unlawful acts or serious safety concerns will be dealt with in accordance with appropriate/relevant legislation.

Terms and conditions:

When lodging your complaint you must agree to the following:

  1. Use respectful language when describing your complaint - language should not be aggressive, insulting or threatening.
  2. Information about your complaint is a true and accurate record of the events.
