What if I didnt get an interview or outcome

Early Admission is only one way to secure a place at UOW

Not gaining Early Admission does not mean you will not gain entry to UOW next year.  We strongly encourage you to apply for your chosen UOW course through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). All UAC offers are based on ATARs, and any eligible bonus points.

The first UAC round of offers is Thursday 21 December, this is six days after ATARs are released on Friday 15 December.

UAC Preferences for this round must be locked in by midnight on Sunday 17 December.

If you would like to discuss your UOW study options once your HSC results and ATAR are released; we will be happy to talk to you anytime, but the best time would be before you lock in your UAC preferences on Sunday 17 December.

You can email us, or call our Admissions Advice Team during business hours on 1300 367 869. Also keep your eyes on the Future Student website for notifications of UOW Live Chats offered around ATAR release time.

What if your ATAR doesn't meet the requirements for direct entry to UOW?

UOW College offers academic pathway programs that prepare you for university. After successful completion of a UOW College course you are guaranteed entry into the first or second year of a range of UOW undergraduate degrees.

These courses are designed for students who have not met the direct entry requirements for a UOW undergraduate degree. They are also suited to students who did not receive an ATAR from their secondary schooling.

UOW College will be holding information sessions around ATAR release time, these will be advertised on the UOW Future Students & UOW College websites closer to the date.

For more information about UOW College and the options that they offer - head to their website.
