Australia’s energy system is undergoing enormous and irreversible transformation, driven by customer choice, new technology and changing economic and community imperatives. The accelerated implementation of new technology such as renewable generation, distributed generation and alternative fuels into regulatory and economic markets which were not designed with such technologies in mind creates a need to navigate coincident and sometimes conflicting issues.
The University of Wollongong is inviting you to join a conversation on the social, economic and technical aspects of the energy future – as UOW helps plot a sustainable and equitable roadmap from the present into a new energy future. Community engagement in new energy solutions will lead to better outcomes for society, business and the environment – come and ask the burning questions you have of our experts!
