The CMRP Computing resources
This webpage is meant to describe the CMRP computing facility and contains information devoted to the use of the facility. The information contained is specific to CMRP clusters and meant for CMRP staff and students only.
For general information on Geant4, please refer to the Geant4 Collaboration webpage.
The CMRP Cluster
Two separate clusters are available at CMRP: Centaur and Enigma.
Centaur: 16 machines, with 104 cores with CentOs platform.
Enigma: 21 machines, with 84 cores with CentOs platform.
Who can access the cluster? CMRP students working with Monte Carlo codes and CMRP collaborators.
How to access the cluster? Ask to Susanna Guatelli or Dean Cutajar for an account. A user account will be provided on Centaur. An account on Enigma can be provided only for very time consuming Geant4 applications.
If the allocated resources are not sufficient, an account on the HPC Cluster of UOW can be provided.
Once you obtain a user account, you have to do an online induction course.
Dean Cutajar is system manager of the CMRP cluster.
