Orientation Sessions

For new (and returning) students

New commencing students (or returning students who would like to attend), this one's for you! To make the most of Campus Fest, you should make sure you’re getting all the information you need to kick off your studies. How do you do this?

  1. Attend your Orientation Welcome session. This will provide you with important information about starting at UOW and answer any questions you have about your studies.
  2. Attend a Transition for Success Session. We’ve put together a suite of online workshops and information sessions, video tutorials and other resources for topics like using the Library, navigating UOW's Student Online Services (SOLS), understanding your fees, accessing support services and heaps more.
  3. Check out the Festival (11am - 3pm) each day. Engage with UOW service providers, clubs, societies and sign up for co-curricular experiences. The festival will feature free entertainment, games, food and much more.
  4. Sit back and enjoy some of the biggest names in Australian music at the Music Zone, with headline acts such as Montaigne, Ziggy Ramo, and Touch Sensitive.
  5. Visit the UOW Get Started website to get the most out of your first few weeks.
