AHSRI is pleased to welcome Professor Belinda Goodenough to the role of Director for Centre for Health Research Illawarra Shoalhaven Population (CHRISP).
Professor Belinda Goodenough brings to the position internationally recognised expertise in leadership, research and implementation science, most recently as Executive Director of Dementia Training Australia (DTA). Belinda will maintain a part-time role with DTA.
She will be supported by Professor Kate Curtis, who has taken up a part-time role as Clinical Director and by Associate Professor Judy Mullan, who has taken on a part-time role as Academic Director.
Belinda is a behavioural scientist with 20 years of experience in the fields of psychology, education and health services research. She has a specific interest in knowledge translation and implementation research, with a goal to improve our understanding of how the ‘real world’ can get best value from research investment. Belinda has applied these skills in areas as diverse as pain, cancer, childhood health, and over the past decade, ageing and dementia.
