What can you study at the UOW Sydney CBD campus?

At our Sydney CBD campus, you can study postgraduate business degrees from Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong and the Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) from UOW’s School of Law.

Sydney Business School, UOW offers a range of postgraduate business courses that are internationally recognised for excellence in business and management education. Our strong links with industry, business, government and the not for profit sector together with our meaningful and rigorous research ensure our programs meet the ever changing needs of organisations around the globe.

The award-winning School of Law is offering the Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) at the Sydney CBD campus for the first time in 2021. This world-class degree provides a thorough grounding in the law, as well as a real-world focus on the essential practical skills and the social and ethical context in which the law operates.  This degree is available to graduates of disciplines other than law, and to graduates of law degrees from outside Australia.  While the Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) is a postgraduate program, this degree will attract Commonwealth Supported Places allowing greater access and affordability for domestic students to upskill or change career pathways. For more information on Commonwealth Supported Places, please visit the Fees & Assistance page.

Sydney Business School is the postgraduate business school of the University of Wollongong and we have campuses in two beautiful locations. We have a campus in Wollongong, where we have streams of trees, a whole range of student activities, it's near the beach, lovely place to live. We also have a campus right in the heart of Sydney, looking on to the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. You couldn't imagine you're anywhere else but Sydney.

We’re passionate about responsible leadership. Passionate about people who can make a difference in the world. Passionate about making a difference in the world through our research. Through our teaching. Both of which we had awards for.

A degree at Sydney Business School is more than a degree. It's more than a paper qualification. Paper qualifications are important. Human resource management functions often screen people out just on paper. So, you'll need a piece of paper to get in the door. But paper isn't enough. You need the skills as well as the knowledge and you need to be able to apply your skills.

We are also really passionate about engaging with industry because we have to teach things that are relevant to the workplace, relevant industry. Not things in textbooks hundred years ago. Things that actually matter today. So, when our students go into the workplace, they can actually talk and do useful things that employers want.

We also invite employers to actually have input into our course design. When we're coming up with new courses. When we're improving existing courses. We bring our students out on-site visits. We bring employers in as industry speakers into the classroom. We have a series of master classes. We have an industry conference. So, we really tried to make sure that what our students are learning is actually relevant and is up-to-date and it's useful.
