Learning Development

Dr Leonie Watson is available every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for individual consultations to help with any aspects of your university study, including time management, efficient reading, academic writing for all types of assignments, referencing, presentation skills, and exam preparation. Leonie also runs workshops throughout session.

Peer Academic Coaches (PACs), Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) and Global Communicators Program (GCP)

Improve your marks! Access Peer Academic Coaches (PACs) on campus, who help students succeed with studies, attend PASS sessions (proven to produce higher subject marks for students that attend regularly), and come along to the Global Communicators Program (GCP) to have interesting conversations in English, to share your culture and to build international friendships and networks.

Student Support Advisor

Confidential advice and support relating to ANY issue affecting your studies. SSA's can help you with UOW policies or processes that can be difficult to navigate or refer you to appropriate services for additional support when required.
