The campus is a shared facility between the University, TAFE, and the Batemans Bay Community Library.

The campus is located at Hanging Rock reserve at Corrigans Beach which also houses a variety of sporting facilities including tennis courts, playing fields and basketball courts. The campus is accessible by walk/cycleways, public transport and there is also plenty of free parking.

Print and electronic resources, computers for library research and photocopying facilities are available. The Library also has powered laptop study areas and wireless internet.

Computer laboratory

Computers available for student use in the Lab as well as the Meeting Room G02.

Print services

Low cost printing and photocopying in both black and white and colour in A4 or A3 size.

Wireless internet access

Wireless is available to student and staff for use within the campus. Available for all wireless enable devices (such as laptops and smart phones)

Common room

As well as a space to relax between classes, the lounge is equipped with cooking facilities, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a television and a sunny terrace available for student's use. (Note: these facilities are SAF (Student Amenities Fees) funded)


Combination lockers are available for storage of valuables during class times. (Note: these facilities are SAF (Student Amenities Fees) funded)

24 hour access

Students have access to Computers Lab and other parts of the campus any time of the day or night, seven days a week.

Around the campus there are various places for students to study either individually or in groups.

Audio-visual facilities

Video-conferencing, video players, document readers and interactive smartboards are available. 

External exams

The Batemans Bay campus is pleased to be able to conduct exams for students enrolled at other institutions and are living in the Eurobodalla area. 

Support Facilities

Information technology support - this includes UOW IT computer and software support.

Audio-visual support - is available to assist in the overall educational experience and can be used for presentations and flexible delivery of courses; this includes video-conferencing, video players and overhead projectors. We also have available multimedia tools including a digital camera, digital video camera, mini disk recorder/ player, document/image scanner, DVD player and cassette recorder; all of which will enhance your student experience!

Counselling Services - a qualified counsellor is available for student consultations regarding appeals, special consideration, personal and other problems.

Learning Development - learning assistance is available for students in various areas relevant to degree studies. Workshops include:

  • Time Management
  • Reading and Note Making
  • Essay Writing
  • Structuring Arguments and Critical Thinking
  • Exam Preparation and Techniques
  • Individual consultations are also available.

University Careers Service - the University Careers Service offers advice and guidance to students regarding their future employment options and study strategies.
