Learning development offers free assistance for your study needs. We offer assistance to all enrolled students who wish to improve their academic skills including support to improve your essay and report writing skills, referencing, research and general study skills. Academic skills seminars, self access learning resources and individual consultations are provided at the Batemans Bay campus.

Nicola Bath is the Learning Development lecturer based at Batemans Bay who provides workshops and individual consultations.

Learning Development is located in office G04.
Consultations
Consultations are free and generally last for one hour. It is wise to book a week ahead, as demand for consultations can be very high. The Learning Development lecturer will discuss your academic work with you and guide you towards effective learning and writing strategies. Please bear in mind that this is a teaching – not proofreading – service. Email consultations are available by negotiation. Consultations can be booked directly with Kerryn or through the Campus office on 4472 2125.

Seminars
Learning Development also offers an extensive range of seminars that deal with academic skills relevant to specific subjects and assessment tasks. All workshops are completely free, with booking not necessary - just turn up on the day!
