A Conversation with Prof Christopher Dobson

 


Global Challenges invites you to join a conversation with Professor Christopher Dobson from the University of Cambridge. Professor Dobson, one of the pioneers of studies into the ability of normal proteins to misfold into toxic forms that can cause disease, will discuss the future of his research and the potential to develop cures for neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimers and Parkinsons.

Join Professor Xi-Cheng Zhang, recipient of the 2017 Selby Travelling Fellowship, as he experimentally demonstrate the generation of broadband Terahertz waves from liquid water excited by femtosecond laser pulses and postulates the physical model responsible for this generation.
