  • Khin Than Win (MBBS, DCS,IDCS, MS-CIS) is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Technology and Computer Science. She is a medical doctor with PhD in health informatics. Her background in medicine and knowledge of computing motivate her to be involved in health informatics research area. She has successfully supervised PhD candidates in health informatics. She has been awarded Australian Research Council Discovery and Linkage Grants and other competitive grants.

    Research interests

    My research interest is in persuasive technology in healthcare, online patient education, consumer health informatics and issues involved in electronic medical record systems especially in risk assessment. And also privacy,confidentiality, access and consent of EMR systems. Risk management, information management, software processes involved in implementing EMR systems.
