Much of my research is motivated by practical problems with industrial
applications. Those parts of my research which have included direct contact
with industry are:
Polymer Combustion. I developed
research links to FMC (Old Trafford, Manchester, UK) and
Raychem Ltd. (Swindon, UK).
Modelling of the open vat fermentation process used for making
red wine. This was a
MISG 2002
problem originating with
Beringer-Blass Wine Estates
(Nuriootpa, South Australia). My approach to this project was to
view it as a problem in chemical reactor
engineering.
