I am part of the centre for pure mathematics in the School of Mathematics & Applied Statistics which belongs to the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Wollongong. My particular area of research is operator algebras. Specifically I study Cuntz-Krieger algebras of directed graphs and their analogues, as well as product systems and associated operator algebras. Previously, as a computer science student, I was interested for a time in the field of artificial intelligence, and helped develop the VADER theorem prover and the SATEN belief revision engine as part of the CIN project under Dr Mary-Anne Williams in 1997-98. |
