Teaching

I am not teaching in Autumn session 2012. I will be offering an honours course in Spring session. Details still to be arranged..

I am currently on an ARC-funded Future Fellowship, which does not include teaching duties. I therefore do not currently have fixed office hours. I will be available to see students regarding courses I am teaching by appointment only. Please email me for an appointment. My office is room 15.G36.

If you need to see me, you should start by finding a time on my timetable that looks like it might be free and that would suit you. Then call me on 4221 5003 or email me to make an appointment. If I don’t answer the phone, send me an email — the message-bank on my phone doesn’t work properly, so I will almost certainly not get any phone message you leave.

 

Admin

My current Future Fellowship entails reduced administrative duties.

· I am the Deputy Director of the Institute for Mathematics and Its Applications (IMIA)

· I act as Head of School from time to time.

· I am a discipline champion for UOW’s preparation for the 2012 ERA submission
