- Current Constitution (PDF download, 300 Kb).
Important: The PDF is the official document. The web page is provided for online reference and accessibility. If there are discrepancies between the two files, the PDF is correct.
Standing Orders
Standing Orders govern the way Council meetings are run. They provide a default agenda, meeting procedure, and similar matters. It is possible to suspend standing orders for a given meeting.
The Council can approve changes to the standing orders. (Changes don't require a referendum or special resolution.)
Currently, the Standing Orders are only available online as part of the Constitution PDF.
Policy
The Policy Document sets out the means by which the Association attempts to achieve its goals. For example, §2(d) of the Constitution says one of the aims of the Association is “[t]o organize professional and social activities for postgraduate students…” The Policy Document would contain how the WUPA Council would meet this goal, by specificying the activities to be organised.
Currently, the Policy Document is not available online. We apologise for this. It should be available soon.
