Welcome to WUPA

Hi! If you're a postgrad, then you need to know about WUPA, the Wollongong University Postgraduate Association. We're the peak representative body for postgraduate and Honours students enrolled at Wollongong. Our role is to advance and defend the interests and welfare of postgraduates at UOW.

WUPA is located in Building 116, Northfields Ave, University of Wollongong. (about 100 metres south of the university bus terminal)

General Assistance on Student Matters

WUPA is available to give independent support to postgraduates. Common issues on which students seek information include academic rights, administrative issues, assessment appeals, grievances, discrimination, sexual harassment issues, women’s issues, international student issues and supervision issues. Make an appointment with the WUPA Client Services Representative, Troy, by contacting (02) 4221 3326 or just drop by Building 116 or email troym@uow.edu.au

FACILITIES JUST FOR POSTGRADUATES……

WUPA offers a range of social and cultural events to help postgraduates take time out of their studies and research to meet other postgraduates and have fun! WUPA offices and facilities are located in Building 116, Northfields Ave, University of Wollongong.

Our facilities are open to all UoW postgraduates to use. These include FREE kitchen facilities (including microwave, fridge, sandwich maker) and FREE meeting rooms.

Come visit for FREE tea and coffee, television, DVD Player, karaoke machine and FREE use of a pool table.

Building 116 is OPEN Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays – 9am TO 5pm OR BY APPOINTMENT
